it or do they just go straight to the resume/cover letter?

I'm going through the application process rn and the site is doing the thing where it's just like "hey enter all the information you put in your resume/cover letter into the fields here"

I think it depends on if there are more jobs than people or vice versa

But idk, I think the one you're required to input is the one they use.

It's for an IT position at a local university lol

So hopefully since it's a more specialized position they'll just go off the resume/cover letter I attach?

go off of for what, determine if they should hire you? Yes, resume, but all the info you entered into their account is probably the first step in deciding if youre worth it to peruse your resume maybe

I only look at resume and all that other crap is pointless. Cover letters are also obsolete.
