How does it literally not work lol? They successfully keep track of the days. The Hebrew calendar has even been adjusted to make the same holidays in the same seasons every year.

If lunar calendars were the norm in the west this topic would be about how solar calendars suck.

This is weak argument. The Gregorian calendar isn't 365.2425 days either, hence why we have leap years.

It is, which is why leap years and the occasional leap-second exist. Julian calendar didn't bother, and it slipped a bit.
