I dont care about legacy, Durant told The Athletic. I used to. I used to want to carve out a lane or space in this game for myself that people can remember, but its become too much of a thing now. It just becomes too much of a focus on other people. Whats he done, whats he done?

I saw an interview with Spencer Dinwiddie, who will never be in the conversation as one of the best, but he said something about the "GOATs" conversation.

If you're not Jordan or LeBron, where you are on the list doesn't matter to anyone by you, so the faster you just accept that you are/were "one of" the greats, the better your mental health will be.

I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. Barkley continues to just randomly bring him up at times. Sure Durant bites and the convo keeps going but Barkley is the instigator a lot.
