Ghost Face is just a dude in a mask with a knife? That's it?

I guess technically spoilers but:

Ghostface's whole thing is that there has never been and never will be one specific "Ghostface". They all adopt the mask and persona, but it's more of a Clue style "guess the killer" than it is just one dude with a hockey mask coming back forever on loop.

Also Scream is a very bad franchise to start on the most recent film. It has WAY more specific continuity than most other slasher franchises.

I haven't seen 6 yet but seen all the others. Ghostface is a different person every movie. One of the appeals of the movies is always trying to guess who the killer is. They always try to surprise you with twist reveals

yes rather than build a slasher around a main villain the scream series likes to have characters reoccur in the series so they get more character development than the average slasher cast and the appeal of the movies are a big whodunit mystery every time
which kind of means scream 6 is a bad one to start with because the one scene with kirby reveals each killer in the franchise

I like to imagine TC saw this movie thinking it was the first time unmasking the killer for the whole series and was like, damn thats it lol

It's not so much that as it is just being A Guy With A Knife that just gets fucking ragdolled by the guy he's trying to kill kicking the shit out of him

yes kirby is in a decent amount of the movie but but the movie is about tara and sam so they get the most focus

and if kirby dies or not i can tell you that no kirby does not die. she survives the movie and even takes part in the final showdown with ghostface to an extent

She's got roughly equal screentime with everyone else that isn't the main two, maybe a little more. Spoilers: She lives.
