Well, to be fair, in Round 3 he's not technically a kaiju, just a mech. He's basically a glorified Super X. Godzilla ain't gonna lose to no stinkin' Gundam.

And in rounds 4/5, humans kinda brought it on themselves. Using the bones of the original godzilla and building a robot around it was...uh...well the Shobijin told them it was a bad idea and they were like "nah, it'll be fine" <_<
