Should GameFAQs boards be merged into each other? This would make it so the remaining boards are all more lively and active. For one, all social boards should be merged into CE.

Hail naw them Politics users better not be coming to my safe space. We have way too many people here talking about politics already.

Also, the game boards have merged for example Diablo 4 boards can be seen on all consoles.

I think I understand the problem and have a great solution

Bring lue back, then merge CE, RI, and LUE into one place.

After everyone who is displaced and has lost the last place they had here, the site (social boards) can finally die and I'll stop wasting time here

Shut down the boards and replace them with a Discord server

Or nothing

And yet plenty aren't. I have no interest in having to wade through a pool of sports, politics, WWE, anime,... topics so I can discuss some comics.

What do you think is going to happen other than it becoming a smaller CE

You'd have the exact same topics because everybody from here would flood out all the regulars from there and the LUE regulars would just stop posting altogether

It's not integrating two communities, it's just making one community that's already separated itself from the rest of the site leave the site

i would be fine with reopening lue to accounts that met the original requirements...not just a free for all to every shitposting new account though

nah it's still a gamefaqs board on this site and moderated by the same mods

The social boards have their distinct cultures and feels so no. Different platforms for the same game have already been merged which is what actually matters.

At that point you're kind of just making it another karma board. And almost no one uses those as is.

it would just be people with an '03 account or older. lue isn't busy now but it has more traffic than you would expect from a board that hasn't accepted new members for 20 years. that kind of partial reopening would be the only way to accept 'new' users without destroying the identity of the board.
