This seems like a clickbait article meant to entertain and rile up idiots. Just the Disney stuff is pretty inaccurate. Iger was brought back to cut $5.5 billion. That's almost double what Zaslav is working with, and he already made his plan pretty clear. Disney+ has also been losing an insane amount.

And I personally don't even believe anything like "going woke makes you broke". However, lots of stuff that has been accused of being woke either flopped or failed to meet expectations.

This doesn't even mean much overall. You're dealing with mega corporations. They've calculated the loss already. None of them can possibly go broke even if they put out stinkers for a few years. After that, investors might start pulling out in droves like they partially did last year.

This is even more apparent with advertising. Boycotts just end up being indistinguishable from advertising at some point like with Nike, Chik-fil-A and Hogwarts. TV and Movies have more of a "people just aren't tuning in" thing. Ads are just like "yo, I wonder what the craze is about"
