Like sure, maybe if he was making rolling profits or something, I could see the need to keep the lie up But nobody gives a shit anymore. At best, he was a decent player that had one killer run in the 80s and is holding on to the only W he's ever gotten in his life. Which is still lame, even at best. At worst, he's a cheater. He doesn't even have close to the high score anymore, so it's not like he's even got the title anymore. I'm inclined to believe he cheated based on everything surrounding him. Most of Mitchell's biggest cases are ongoing and have been for several years. I think once his Twin Galaxies lawsuit is lost (likely to be this year) that ruling will come into play in pretty much all his other lawsuits.
