Ehhhh, look I'm not opposed to violence as a political tool, I tend to think that quite often it's the only thing that brings meaningful change, but the Brotherhood were a bit much. Literally genocidal in their early iterations.

This man would not be working with the Brotherhood. All 3 sides are opposed to each other. Both the government, and the Brotherhood would like to wipe put the X-Men, but the government and the Brotherhood have different motives. The government woukd like to wipe out the Brotherhood also. Government is fighting to eliminate all Mutants. Brotherhood is fighting for Mutant Supremacy on earth. Xmen are fighting for peace and equality
