You're at home one day playing your 3rd favorite video game when you hear strange sounds coming from your kitchen. Not wanting to pull a Prinicpal Skinner you decide to investigate.

When you do you discover that there's a sneaky thief in your kitchen with a sack full of your stuff. She's grabbed one of your saucepans and was about to shove it into her sack when she saw you.

Before you could spell your name she makes a beeline for your front door and zips right past you but trips and collides ass over teakettle into your wall.

Before you had a real chance to react to all that, there is a loud crash as the guy you hate the most in the world kicks down your door and bursts into your home. The guy you hate the most in the world points a gun at you and says "I should have done this a long time ago! I hope it hurts!"

Right as the guy you hate pulls the trigger, the thief has regained her bearings alittle and smashes the guy you hate in the back of the head with your saucepan. This causes the guy you hate the most in the world to jerk forward and makes his shot miss your face by inches, zip past you and leave a bullethole in your lightswitch.

The thief tries to tackle the guy you hate the most, causing them to drop the gun but they overpower her and push her back to the ground.

Now unarmed and bleeding from the saucepan shot, the guy you hate the most runs out of your now opened door and vanishes out of sight.

Now you're left standing over the thief who just tried to rob you but then saved your life. She's still dazed.

my apartment is small. If I'm playing video games, I have a direct line of sight into my kitchen and to my door, so I'm watching this all play out. I think I'd want to just go to bed after it all was done.

Sorry, I still can't muster sympathy for burglars who are involved in the international black market in saucepans.

Don't care. I'd thank her for saving my life but then I'd grab my shit and call the cops on both him and her. Cuz clearly that whole scene was staged.
