I thought a lot of people were trolling about it being super fucking good and a 10/10. But it's doing a good job living up to the hype so far.

For a PS4 title, the graphics are absolutely fantastic. Idk if my PS5 is upscaling anything but it legit could not look any better.

My only real gripe is the combat controls feel really clunky. I'm playing with my wife watching so I'm just doing the easy mode but not story-easy mode. A lot of button-mashing, and swapping weapons from like melee to a pistol is agonizing. I'm probably just used to different controls and need to adjust so I'll give that the BotD for now.

I'm just a little bit past beginning big spoiler part so I'm feeling fired up.

Fantastic game. I prefer it to the first but I know im in the minority on that. I just played both for the first time myself in January

It's really not that bad. It's a pretty fun game and gorgeously crafted. Story's controversial but I didn't hate it. I just preferred the first game's story.

Knowing what I know about the "antagonists" because of spoilers I'm keeping an open mind about everything. It's definitely good storytelling to keep me playing after the way some of these scenes hit.

Amazing game. I've played through it twice and will probably play it again later this year.

It was one of my most hyped games ever and my expectations were exceeded.

it's a very good game, there are a lot of memorable encounters and i really liked the "exploration" parts of the gameplay. i think people gave part 2 a hard time because it definitely has a lot of "woke" elements in it (pissed off the edgy conservatives) & because a lot of ppl tend to have a sort of customer-service type relationship with games where they want it to match up with the fanfic in their heads. i found the plot to be interesting, mature & well-told, which is (imo) very unusual for the video game medium.

The story was mostly Joel and Ellie's relationship growing.
