Fox claimed every employee at Dominion was actually Sunhawk and they all collectively sued for defamation.

Fox said things it knew were factually incorrect that damage Dominion's reputation in an attempt to profit themselves.

Electronic voting machine company. Fox was constantly saying they rigged the election for Biden despite knowing it was a blatant lie.

Trump and his campaign were spreading lies about Dominion voting machines around the 2020 election, and especially so after the vote counts started to go Biden's way. Fox News hosts had Trump and multiple Trump campaign officials (Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, etc.) on the air spreading those lies. The Fox News hosts, directors, board, etc. knew they were lies but they kept furthering the lies any way. They were more concerned about losing their audience to NewsMax and One America News than they were about lying to their audience.

Sidney Powell, for example, said something along the lines of Dominion machines were programmed to change votes from Trump to Biden and a number of other ridiculous things. It turns out her source for this information was some batshit crazy lady who claimed she "experienced time travel in a semi-conscious state," "the wind told her she's a ghost, but she doesn't believe it," and that she was "internally decapitated" at some point in her life.

Internal messaging from Fox News hosts (Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and Sean Hannity) showed that they knew all of that stuff was batshit crazy, but they did nothing to push back on the claims at all.

Fox News is also being sued by Smartmatic for pretty much the same reasons, and that's an even bigger lawsuit ($2.7 billion).

It's really bizarre. They're clearly more concerned with money than they are with journalistic integrity. The damage they've done to the country seems to be irreparable at this point, imo. They likely won't mention anything about any of the lawsuits they're facing and losing/settling on air so a large majority of their viewers will just go on acting like Fox News is telling them the truth and the lawsuits never happened.

I was hoping Dominion would go through with the trial to force public testimony from Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Maria Bartiromo, Lou Dobbs, etc., but they settled right before opening statements.

So now we pretty much have to hope Smartmatic will actually force them to go all the way through a trial. Also hopefully that one will be televised.
