Compare this to the mainline games where he's a foreveralone incel and makes Mega Man. Eventually that leads him to create X and the world goes to complete and utter shit for the next 300ish years with the X series, and the Zero series, and eventually the Legends series.

And that is utopic compared to what happens in the other megaman games lol. Like after the OG games its a continual chain of unaverted/barely averted apocalypses and humanity goes extinct/extinct on earth or often is forced into limited colonies undeground or whatever.

Even non capcom spiritual successors like Gunvolt are dystopian hellholes.

Battle network gets off easy with like a couple years with a big surge in terrorist attacks and in the end The two main people responsible both reform. One because he gets memory wiped and the other is just a legit reform.Also some 12 year olds always happen to be around to stop it.

Like a handful of people die in the first few games. In the other spinoffs you have sometimes have BILLIONS dead and society collapsed

That was a horrible decision from a lore perspective. The rest of the series and world from then on was stuck in complete ruin for hundreds of years after.

I guess it has to do with that we never see humans in those games. THOUSANDS literally died in the MMX4 intro alone. And who knows how many died in the MM7 intro.
