Has anyone tried this before. Just eating a lot of a spice foods? When I do this, I am less hungry overall. So maybe use that to stop my self from overeating.

Friend tried it and wound up with an ulcer, so I would be careful. Maybe talk to a doc/dietitian beforehand.

Spicy food accelerates the digestive tract in an attempt to be rid of it, so overall absorption will be decreased a bit.

I've never heard of spicy food doing that

I do know that eating a lot of fiber makes you feel more full. I was eating a lot of peanut in shells and flavored almonds for snack food

I know spicy food tends to have less sodium since it doesn't need it for taste as much. Don't know how much it helps weight-wise though.

It helps but not if it's the only thing your doing. Add more fiber and try chia seeds in water. Both help you feel more full. You could even do chia seeds in yogurt or something.

The the heat increases your metabolism. By like 5% so it's not enough to lose weight if that's all your doing.

It might work short term, which means it won't work.

If you want to lose weight you need slight changes that you can sustain, not dramatic changes that you are prepared to stomach for the next 6 weeks or whatever.
