gut instinct says it's more likely to have lore relevance than any other pre BotW zelda game and i'd like it vaguely fresh.

It's a good game for some parts, and a boring slog for other parts. The part between the last major dungeon and the final one is fucking awful.

honestly there are two things holding me back

1: knowing my tendency to optimize all the fun out of the game by spending far too much time on side quests i'm not that invested in before continuing the story, so i'm always as decked out as possible for a game that isn't difficult enough to warrant it.

and 2: i actually love the motion controls but the joycons are just not as satisfying as a "sword grip" like the wiimote with a ribbed sleeve was. that thing just felt RIGHT in my hand ya know?

There arent THAT many sidequests that would sideline your progress, except the fucking harp one (because you'll probably have to try a ton of times to win it).

i also of course mean exploring every square inch of skyloft and farming all the materials from the surface i need to make all available upgrades to my gear before moving on.
