My irl friends are all people I worked with at some point in my 20s. I don't keep up with any high school friends and my online "friends" are more like acquaintances with only one exception. I had a couple friends I met online while playing White Wolf RPGs back in the late 90s/early 2000s but I've fallen out of touch with more or less all of them. Ironically, the only person I met online back then that I still talk to at all is my girlfriend. Everyone else I socialize with is someone I met in school and have stayed friends with for decades, people I met working, or people I met through other people. Basically all of them. I'd say my friends are like 40% from high school, 30% work, 30% gym or hockey.
