ViewtifulJoe 05/04/23 5:14:53 AM #1:	I watched a video on Xenogears. It was kinda cool I guess. I played Xenoblade 1, I like it a lot. I watched playthroughs of Xenoblade 2 and 3. Not after so long. Still a beautiful looking series though when you upscale it. Jiek_Fafn 05/04/23 8:13:52 AM #8:	Yes, but no The plot is good, but often overly convoluted. There are a ton of different characters. Some just mentioned. Some seen. It's often hard to keep track of. There is an in game database to help, but it's not entirely necessary to enjoy the plot. Theres a lot of lore, which is cool. I will say that Albedo is one of the best antagonists in a jrpg ever. Dude is legitimately terrifying. He's like an upgraded Kefka. His English VA does a fantastic job. 1 is short but has a cutscene every few minutes. Youre mostly watching a movie. The gameplay is pretty slow, so the battles themself are longer than they need to be. The underlying gameplay is actualy pretty normal. Just YouTube it imo. 2 has an even slower battle system. It's outright not fun the majority of the time. It's kind of cool for bosses because they feel like a real battle, but random encounters are needlessly prolonged too. The secret super bosses are some of the most satusfying in the genre. Theyre all actually difficult without needing weird mdchanics work arounds. You can probably just YouTube this one too though. 3 doesn't have as many movie cut scenes because they seemingly couldn't afford them. They're replaced with text ones. Most of those are voiced iirc. The battle system in this one is actually really solid. Its more of a traditional rpg system with some added tweaks. If you've made it this far into the series, you'll definitely want to play this one. It manages to wrap up the 100 different plots going on. Some not as satisfyingly as others, but they're addressed. Also there's another little side game. Pied Piper, I think. I believe it was for mobile maybe. Read a plot summary after the first or second game. Otherwise, youll be very confused by a couple characters interactions --- I don't believe in belts. I heard 3 was the best. 1 was aight but you do watch almost a full length movie at times there haha --- "A lesser talent couldn't have pulled it off. But I'm willing to bet on BoJack Horseman.
