I think they made it sound a bit too much like she was autotuned in the chorus and I wish she used her deeper singing voice for this song but yes it was still good, she's usually very apprehensive of singing other Holo songs so to cover basically THE Suisei song is a good sign

Unite is by far the tournament that's least paid attention to at Worlds. Surely it's an advertisement or promotion. What I'm wondering is why each branch is participating, in EN only Fauna seems like she would be carrying the team. They haven't even had any practice streams up yet. How much have the others even played Unite? Probably Irys, but has she even played in like the past year?

Yeah, Kiara was saying she was the only one to potentially do a practise stream (with Fauna) out of EN and thought she might be taking it too seriously compared to everyone else.

So, waiting for a bit more on it, but apparently Tachibana Music that has worked with both Hololive and Nijisanji as far as helping produce covers(maybe some originals? Uncertain atm) has been one of the major forces stirring up shit as far as drama goes.

He got caught attempting to doxx an indie vtuber, who also found out he'd been running a smear campaign against her on 4chan as well. Also looks like he's been behind a few past dramas with both Niji and Holo, possibly involving doxxing.

This is apparently pretty new and admittedly don't have much to go on atm, waiting to find out or hear some more before i link stuff but it's looking kinda legit at the moment, still not fully buying in till I can check around a bit myself when I get home.

Edit: Can't link it because it's found on some sites that will def get me modded and... I don't currently have a twitter account, but it looks like someone on twitter infodumped Tachibana breaking NDA on projects he's worked on for Selen Tatsuki, Magni Dezmond, and Noir Vesper(date wise this seems to be shortly before Magni and Vesper had to "stop all activities" too). It seems personal information was likely leaked on Magni and Vesper as a result as well. The two smaller VTubers that bumbled across this were Futakuchi Mana(https://www.youtube.com/@FutakuchiMana/) and Zephyrianna(https://www.youtube.com/@ZephyriannaCh) who...seemingly have been put through a LOT by what this guy has done, and the benevolent info leaker appears to be KuYonbai on Twitter(the one who blew the whistle on this guy).

It's also looking like he might've been the cause of Yugo Asuma/Unnamed being in trouble, and was once again trying to smear Unnamed, but that I haven't seen anything else about.

It's all just rumor shit right now. In a discord with people who are usually right about that shit. As far as I can tell the Magni/Vesper thing, the extent of what I've found is the dude talking in a public discord that he's working with Magni on "something big" and the two of them dropping off the face of the earth right after.

As it stands what has been leaked the guy looks like a manipulative dick so I think people are just throwing things at the wall assuming it'll stick about everyone he has worked with ever.

I haven't seen anything about it to confirm any which way aside from the fact that they've worked together, which since Tachibana is neck-deep in the EN Vtuber music production scene it seems is wholly unsurprising. A lot of speculation and people saying it fits, but that's it.

On the one hand what happened to him seems like something from what leaked that could have actually happened, it could also just as easily be JP business politics, so... I would say there's no real proof at the moment, and the simplest answer, however unfortunate(I mean just Yugo's situation as a whole) is usually true in these cases for the Yugo one.

Only things I've seen potentially confirmed are(mind I'm bad at spotting faked pictures): He did talk a lot about projects he worked on for Selen which violated an NDA he was under, and he did talk about working on a project with Magni in passing, and he did some really messed up stuff to the two indie vtubers(there's a 10 hour long stream on Zephyrianna's channel that I have skimmed over where they talk about it.)

My friend was a sub of Bijous past life. She just randomly graduated back in April. She was on the upswing too. New fancy model and was starting to gain subscribers.

I also personally followed Shioris past life. I was shocked she'd join HL. She didn't want to corpo. She had bad experiences.

So, Nijisanji shut down a Fall Guys tournament Selen Tatsuki's been working on, and took away her privileges to organize international tournaments.

Honestly, dunno why Niji is playing chicken with Selen at this point. She's networked with not only other vtuber companies pretty well, but professional gaming groups players and she even talks to major game companies(and gets approached by them for promo stuff pretty regularly.) If anyone in NijiEN could just walk out and probably not even take a popularity hit at the moment it's her.

I don't think Selen will actually graduate. I watched her before Nijisanji, and I know despite all the difficulties she's still probably more thankful than upset for now. But I don't really understand the logic behind going "You want to do all this work for Nijisanji, line up people across multiple countries and time zones, and run a big event? No, no. Can't have that." especially since she's not above paying out-of-pocket for any costs to host it, even if it means putting stuff off. I'm pretty sure literally any other workplace would fight to get an employee like that.

Cover/Hololive must have really convinced her to join, in that case. After all, from what we can see at least, Cover/Hololive is doing amazingly well right now.

Didn't think of that as a possibility, especially since after she talked about it she quickly glossed over that she was going to be probably be in trouble and didn't really elaborate, this guy seems the sort to threaten doxxing/be a general pain if at all looks to be crashing down. But yeah, completely taking away her ability to organize stuff internationally was way too much.

I still hold that if they were going to do -that- it would've happened a month ago instead of stringing people along. They had several weeks to dull the pain for "but new debuts tho", for the subset of the audience that would even care enough to let that taint the festivities.

Best guess at this point is they got mired in that TCBN music scandal that was making the rounds, but like that seems comparatively recent compared to when they both vanished?

The rumor involving them and that, granted I couldn't find any proof, was that he might've doxxed Magni over the course of working on something for him, and Vesper got wrapped up in it.

I guess if it was bad enough they'd keep them out of it as long as possible. Mel was gone for a real long time before returning with her situation, but I guess it means if it is that they're likely being protected at least. Really nothing to back it up aside from discord pics about the guy blabbing about working with Magni though.

Just not streaming. Hololive pretty much always says when someone has been suspended, or is off for health reasons.

If it were a suspension or anything else it'd honestly be a little less unsettling than "they have to stop" basically. Magni is potentially part of the TCBN Music scandal considering the guy has enough info to doxx a few people from NijiEN and HoloEN supposedly, so it's possible that Hololive is playing it safe with effected talents.

Rushia was never suspended. Food for thought.
