Like one of the things that I hate about cooking is that I am never able to finish cooking everything close to the same time. There is always something getting cold. Last night I just said ---- it and threw everything in my air fryer and waited 15 minutes then picked it up . 4

Is this hard for anyone else.

Keep an oven on warm for anything that finishes quickly. I normally fry in batches and need a warmer oven anyways.

Its probably one of the bigger stumbling points for most people when they start trying to cook actual food and can be very discouraging. It takes time but it does get easier as you try cooking more and different things.

If you find a recipe that has good instructions maybe see if that person has any more posted, or you could look into doing a short trial of one of those meal delivery programs like hello fresh as they have very detailed prep instructions.

The key is to make sure everything is prepped first

vegetables chopped, spices measured and mixed as needed, things like rice rinsed and drained, oven and pans preheated

then its just a matter of lining up cooking times

Some suggestions:

  • Slow cooker
  • Sous Vide
  • Oven roasts wrapped in foil
Each of these methods can be overcooked for hours without impacting the quality of the food. Then you can cook a side dish or w/e on the stove and guarantee everything you need to do is ready at the same time.

It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."
