Rape probably involves more explicit acts such as forced sexual intercourse, sexual abuse would just be sexual contact like groping or kissing.

In states making a distinction between rape and sexual assault, the latter is generally defined as:

1. intentionally making physical contact with the intimate body parts of another person, and
2. doing so without that persons consent.

Like said otherwise rape is generally considered forced intercourse when its not used interchangeably

Probably not. Civil cases, it's more about the probability of him committing the crime. Criminal case would need to be beyond a reasonable doubt, which I'm sure he'd pull some bullshit to give that tiny sliver of doubt. Like OJ, everyone knew he did it, just messed up proving it beyond a reasonable doubt

No. And if he wasn't found guilty of rape in civil he definitely won't be found guilty in criminal.

In criminal trials the bar is "beyond reasonable doubt" but in civil trials it's just "preponderance of the evidence" meaning you just have to think it's more likely that he did than didn't.

FWIW, maybe the fact that he's actually being held accountable for this will prevent the other cases from holding back their punches

It's hard to put Trump's stupidity into words. He was specifically given a deadline of Sunday at 5pm eastern by the judge to make a firm decision on whether he wanted to testify on his own behalf before closing arguments started yesterday. That deadline came and went without any word from him.

His overseas trip while the trial was going on also isn't fooling anyone but his own supporters.
