I feel like by killing obvious scum Chris we essentially killed peaf because we gave them the strongman kill back. so who was pushing Chris over the other possible scum lynch yeaterday? (I say this realizing that I decided Chris made the most sense as scum is scum and should be killed)

The people on Ctes were Chris, who had to be, and then the three town-core in Peaf/Wallz/Me. That means that scum chose to lynch Chris over Ctes, likely because he was the spent strongman and wanted to preserve Ctes' power.

Sultan, yesterday you stayed out of the Chris/Ctes conversation until the very end, not wanting to humor Ctes as an option, and ultimately settling on Chris because you thought he was capable of talking his way out of a future lynch? Does that sound like a fair assessment of your D4?

I could see that as scum deciding to sack the Strongman at the end and you coming in to vote him for that reason despite showing no interest in moving off of MZero earlier in the day.

A kill was literally blocked, so you don't know who they tried to kill. Sultan can't be scum if you read Lopens interactions with Sultan. Lopen didn't realize how his claim couldn't exist with Sultans because he was somewhat unaware of what Sultan actually claimed. Sultan literally 100% cannot be scum.

As odd as it may sound coming from me, then we'd better be damn confident that Ctes is scum. Because we lose our chance to lynch Sultan if Ctes is town.

If everyone is so worried about sultan flipping town (Im not), we could always ask sultan not to shoot anyone.

If Sultan was the partner, would they really just give up with how suspected he was? Chris is a very good player and would fight harder if the game was that easy for town. Like the dude didn't exec try to get MZero lynched.

Me and Sultan were tunneling MZero and that was literally an out for him that he didn't take.

It was never gonna happen. Chris played wifom yesterday a lot. He was hoping we would go ctes first to get on scum then use his claim to wittle through the people who would never ever lynch him if he was serving ketchup hotdogs to people in all white.

If ctes is what I think he is, then Chris probably rolled over for him.

I forgot I did think about this with Peaf a little last night.

There's a chance that they didn't want to shoot Sultan because it isolates Chris on the Red Watch. They kill Sultan and MZero in that situation after we lynch Lopen. Then maybe we make the same mistake and lynch Death instead of revealing Chris at that time. Then Chris dies 100%. In most cases, that's still a decent trade for scum, but there is at least a motive for scum to not shoot Sultan yet if they think they can use the confusion to lynch outside of the Red Watch first, and give Chris time to trade for more.

Not saying your logic is wrong, just that there could potentially be scum motive to not do that trade immediately, especially if they think Sultan will be stubborn enough to leave his gun on MZero, which he publicly seemed to be until we lynched Chris.

That's true. I didn't consider that dynamic as much. I might have to go reread that part of D1 and see if it actually looked like that lynch could pick up any steam by the time Lopen jumped off.
