My favorite Chinese place in my area closes on Tuesday and I have another one I like and they pick Monday to close. Then there is one that closes like at 2 and open back up at 4. Selling the same stuff so it not like a new menu.

I wonder how they pick what day to close.

Restaurants in general do that in my area: either mon or tuesday, they're probably the less busy days of the week for restaurants

Restaurants without the staff to man 7 days per week will sometimes prioritize weekends and pick the slowest weekday(s) for their days off instead.

After reading your post. I did noticed that it is the same lady behind the desk every time I got to either one of those places. I didn't even think about that. Wow that must work crazy hours. Like how there is always the same shop keep in video games.

Also yeah I see the things about going to doctor and stuff on that day.
