I actually don't sweat balance too much I just don't like unfun roles (role where you are pretty much guaranteed to be mislynched or cause a mislynch) or unfun setups (an oppressive amount of power that scum can't play around or games that can end day 2)

So like as long as the game can't be at lylo day 3 do whatever.

I just remembered that FF14 patch is this Tuesday and I'm gonna be busy with raiding when that comes out. I'm gonna have to drop out. I'm sorry for signing up and so quickly changing my mind. I got consumed by the hype and wasn't thinking rationally.

Savage tier comes out the Tuesday afterward, doesn't it? On June 6th? Nonetheless, no big deal. 18 players would be ideal, but 17 works, too.

Role PMs will be sent out very soon. Just proofreading right now to make sure there aren't any mistakes. Expect this game to officially start on Friday, May 19th at 7:00 PM EDT.

Flavor has absolutely no impact on the roles whatsoever. The justification for why your characters have the roles they were given ranges from "makes complete sense" to "absolutely ridiculous but we'll roll with it". Some are played totally straight, others are intentionally zany.

In this game, you're free to flavor meta all you want, because the flavor will have absolutely zero impact on the game. More on that once I post the official rules for the game.

Just a heads up to make reading your role PMs a bit easier, your roles are clearly defined into "actions" and "abilities".

Actions require your input to activate, whereas abilities are passive and will work on their own or under certain conditions. This isn't anything too crazy; it's just a way to clearly define what your role can do.

Most actions will also have a priority. This gives you a rough idea of how your action gets resolved relative to other actions. There are three priority tiers: High, Normal, and Low. There's a bit more nuance behind how actions resolve, but that is for the host to sort out.

Again, nothing too crazy. Just another way to contextualize your role and how it works. Feel free to ask questions if anything is confusing.

I mainly remember the Cartel fiasco with Blade and Plan Atomic Bomb (which obviously blew up in town's faces) from that Ulti Smash game. But I like looking at the votals and seeing I was on Wigs ass from D2 until the day he got lynched and apparently that's the one day I didn't vote him. Classic.

May 30th for savage. There are other factors too. My grandparents visiting from Oregon this weekend so I'll be spending time with them. Already know I'll be gone all of Sunday and would have been absent for day 1 EOD for that reason. Street Fighter 6 open beta is also this weekend. All while wanting to play zelda when I can

Fortunately, you withdrew just before I shuffled all of the roles. So I appreciate that you mentioned it sooner rather than later, lest I would've had to reshuffle the roles and rewrite the flavor here and there.
