I think more people hated the MK11 one with 21 Savage. >_> That said he sounded like he was half asleep. I agree that MK11's song sucks. 21 Savage is trash. The Whiz Khalifa one is cool though.

Aftermath was a much better story and experience than the main game for exactly two reasons:

  1. It has Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and the main game does not.
  2. It does not have Ronda Rousey and the main game does.

These are good points.

Edit: they brought back the actors for Sonya, Johnny, and Raiden. Why can't they do this for the rest of the game?

I'd be surprised if there weren't.

Personally I hope they go back to horror icons for it, though.

Or, even better, if they didn't go the guest route, but had a horror icon fighting game after MK1 instead of MK1-2 or Injustice 3.

Well...ish. It's a timeline reset, not a reboot. The events prior to 9 still definitely matter.

Seems like everything counts in Mortal Kombat so even the previous events of 11 remain canon despite being otherwise erased.

Hopefully the Titans exist outside of time and are the new overarching antagonists. No reason to introduce them then do nothing in the following installment.
