Luckily everyone is fine, but the perp smashed this car's trunk inwards and then split immediately. Probably a drunk since it's a Saturday night. I had to take all 3 of them to some far ass hospital so they could all be together since the nearest hospital doesnt treat pedatrics.

CE, dont flee the scene if you hit a car. That's illegal >_> And wear your seatbelt

I take so many hit and run reports, its ridiculous. The amount of drunks or people who get scared and flee the scene..

Or who abandon the vehicle because its stolen.

My sister and I got into a hit and run 20 years ago. It was likely the other car was stolen.

I remember years ago I had this drunk guy hit a pedestrian and killed him. Then hopped out his car and just ran away with his car in the middle of the road. Obviously the cops found him in like a day because he left his car with the license plate there. idk what he expected

We just had a trial where two teenage brothers hit their own mother and her boyfriend with a car on purpose, then posting a video about it on Facebook when they drove away. She died.

This is why i invested in a dash cam system that watches the front and back of the car.

To deal with shit like hit and runs, insurance scammers, assholes fucking with my car and any other general fuckery that may happen.

Well mine was done by a local place. I just asked them what their best system was and it came to about 450 installed.

And they did a pretty seamless install so it is mostly hidden and unobtrusive. They mounted it right at the top of the windshields.

I dont know the brand name cuz its under a trim piece, but i would just google a local place that does them and they should have it around that price (arent you in AU? if thts the case it would probably be a bit more dollary doos)

How do you get the video out? Is it sd card? Is it always running or do you have to hit a button or does it have a crash sensor before it activates?
