I only posted because its insane for a group to issue a travel advisory when travel is not the issue. The actual issue is politics. How should they have lobbied given the governor and legislature are solidly Republican?

Mainly people are too busy being crazy in Florida to actively target anyone and its out of state people bringing and projecting their problems. NAACP did nothing to prevent thieve laws from being passed (they knew about them) they also didnt do much of anything to help Ed Reed when he attempted to protect Black students from institutional harm at Bethune Cookman and still havent. This is just them wanting to get free publicity imo.

Do you have some evidence to back up your opinion? Because while this could be intended for publicity, could it not also be intended to provide external confirmation and information to members that aren't keeping up with the numerous news events?
