Would you believe they were innocent or guilty? The guy who is accused of stabbing 4 college students in Idaho has 2 sisters. But I wonder what they are thinking

Knowing my brother if he was guilty of such a thing it would either be an accident or he would confess.

My uncle though would be guilty.

I'm guessing most people probably would not have a sibling so unhinged as to not give them the benefit of the doubt.

I personally wouldn't buy that they are guilty.

Could change if they had tell tale signs of having some issues or something. Could come as not too suprising even. But at that point, I would have tried to get em some help personally.

Either way, it's gotta be rough on the family.

I have one brother who I could see potentially snapping and attempting that, but I'm skeptical he could succeed.

Would probably be some warning signs that he was growing unhinged first too, he's not exactly subtle.

So if it happened today I wouldn't believe it I guess.

Still would look at the evidence

My brother has no problem flashing his gun in a heated confrontation. I'd immediately believe he'd needlessly escalated a situation and shot a bunch of people.

Sometimes you can't really judge a book by it's cover... even when it comes to peeps you might consider close.

I don't know. I mean there have been legit cases where people that were found "guilty" have later been proven innocent.

And one can't really reverse/fix death. Right?

Anyway, death sentences are a tough one for me seeing as our "justice" system is not perfect and easily swayed by money for some reason. Like "good" lawyers and what have you.

Point being, it's kind of hard to square being pro death sentence with the fact that our "justice" system can and has made mistakes before. And not once.

Innocent for sure because none of my siblings would do that.

Same. Had anger issues since a child. He's also paranoid. Thinks people are talking about his back when they are not. Life spiralled after a bad marriage. Got heavily into drugs. 2 years ago was playing with fire and tried to attack my father.
He's clean with the exception of drinking. I think he needs to know his limit though. I just have a feeling he will snap someday.
