Just went back and watched the MGS3 remake teaser...the tone for that trailer was weird and didn't feel like MGS at all.

Because it lacks Kojima.

Hoping for something MGS related, even though I'm sure it'll only be a disappointment if they do.

I have genuinely never been so happy to be wrong. Definitely buy day 1 on Steam.

If there's a collectors edition, I'm probably going to buy that.

I honestly would've been a bit more excited for Phantom Blade if the combat didn't look so varied and fluid. Felt like CG made to look like gameplay.

Marathon is a cross platform PvP shooter. Weird.

No Silent Hill, Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Age 4, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, Blood Bourne 2, or Elden Ring dlc. Missed opportunity when those games should be developed enough by now to show something. A lot of cinematic only trailers being was lame. The games they did show gameplay of did look great at least.

That was my feeling as well, but I also never played the first one for some reason similar to that, so this just isn't made for me.

Also I just find the idea of a bunch of jungle hunters showing up and taking over NY dumb.

Why does it need to be overly constructive? Are Sony taking notes? The majority of trailers were CG, there was a few third party highlights here and there but this is a Playstation showcase, there was a distinct lack of first party titles, all the VR games looked weak apart from yet again the novelty version of the latest Resident Evil game being the sole reason to justify it and the only first party title with actual gameplay still relies on QTEs in 2023. Is that constructive enough for you?

can you express disappoint without trolling? You know that possible. Just faulting it sucked is blatant trolling.

Imo the Spiderman game didn't look any better than the previous ones. It just felt like the previous games with a squirrel suit+more unnecessary scripted events. Very dumb moment when one of them went out of their way to fling through a lone tram cart for no reason other than to show the animation.

I'll still buy it but if it's the Ragnorok of Spiderman games I'll be super disappointed. Feel like MM was a step in the right direction but this didn't do enough different to make me feel confident in it.
