You'll die at work. The same company will also own the house that you live in. When you finally go, in their benevolence they'll even prorate your rent that month.

You basically live subsistence with social security and hopefully have kids willing to help you out.

I do think at some point in the very near future American households will in general literally have to be inter-generational as a forced method just to survive. To be honest, the only reason that hasn't happened already is due to very deeply ingrained societal reinforcement surrounding how "independence" is defined by some form of residence ownership.

...I can see people committing crimes just to get arrested for housing & food / medical care.
Not going to say millions will do it, but enough people to make it a serious social issue/problem/phenomenon.

The government needs to make some sort of massive package that basically gives every millennial UBI for life, a house in their area, and free medical care. They can also give us a shitload of spending money as an apology. We are not slaves and we are not reserve soldiers.
