Considering doing something terrible briefly - and reinforcing to yourself that that thing would be terrible. They're scary sometimes. Like you're at an intersection with someone crossing and you momentarily think to yourself: "You know, if I were to hit the gas right now I would instantly ruin many lives, including my own." You never act on the thoughts - but they DO cross your mind, occasionally. You know what I mean? Or like, you're in a 1:1 meeting with some person of importance and you think to yourself: "I wonder what would happen if I just punched this person right in the face right now?"
