Which is best?

I did a 3 month trial for Spotify for $10 and I dont know, I kind of want to stick with YouTube Music. I dont see any option in Spotify to just play a personalized radio station or playlist based on my general music tastes like YouTube Music or Apple Music. Might be user error though because Im not familiar with Spotify.

I watched a Fantano video where he broke down payouts and I think Tidal pays artists the most.

Idk which has best quality.

Spotify has 'song radio', you have to select it from the specific song options

Spotify is the easy choice but Apple Music has better radio/curated playlists recently got updated with a feature that lets you turn down vocals and listen to instrumentals, so that's pretty cool.

You mean like after you select a song it makes a station out of it? Hm.

Best quality is Qobuz, but their library isn't as big as some.

Tidal and Amazon give you high quality audio and extensive libraries.

Spotify still doesn't have a CD-quality option, so fuck them.

If you are already a Prime member, Amazon is best. If not, probably Tidal.

Only downside to Spotify (AS A CONSUMER, not an artist) is that even premium subscribers still have to pay extra for certain audiobooks.

Like you would think the subscription would entitle people to just listen to whatever is on the service but noooo9

Spotify has the best and most extensive library so I would go with them.

Better than YouTube music which has access to all the random and rare shit uploaded to YouTube? Genuine question.

Of those, I voted Apple Music. I use Apple Music to stream entire albums or play artist / song specific radio. I also use Apple Music to stream a station based on my tastes and it's amazing. They also have the ability to stream in lossless quality via ALAC, something that isn't often offered by these sorts of apps. I also use Apple Music to follow curated playlists by individuals, along with the generated playlists that are made to my taste and have found them to be pretty accurate.

That said, their radio stations are not up to par in my opinion. As someone that has no interest in listening to hits radio or country it's pretty pointless. Of course this is ignoring the algo stations. Because of this I also have a subscription to SiriusXM. SiriusXM does radio way better and has actual djs, shows and all of that good shit in genres I'm interested in.

Also if you don't care about streaming quality, go with Spotify.
