What is the issue with the main Reddit app? I am not a hardcore Reddit user, but besides occasional glitches loading videos, I don't have any real problems with the app. I guess there are some annoying ads, but I just ignore them. At least it doesn't do that awful auto play videos of people playing terrible music anymore. I've been hearing that the official app is 'unusable,' which it really isn't. A big part of why reddit got popular in the first place is the openness of the site. You can customize the look and feel however you want. There is a big issue with the moderator and accessibility tools as well. While mods are made fun of a lot the communities wouldn't be possible without their FREE labor. Questionmarktarius posted... this really does prove that reddit mods lack even the most fundamental understanding of what reddit is, and how to manage a community. you can hide a forum but that doesn't change the community. sure, some members are on the hype train, but that will pass. and they'll just use other forums to promote and consume the same content. other forums for which the current mods will have no power. ...
