Square Enix is an enigma. On one hand they so badly want to be a big boy developer, constantly churning out games with AAA graphics but trash gameplay, and are shocked when they don't sell 10+ million

On the other hand they routinely behave like a tiny indie developer by constantly taking timed exclusivity deals with whoever is willing to pay (whether it's Sony, Nintendo, or even Epic), showing that they have zero confidence in their games

They should be ashamed of themselves
