And you summon someone you know to come pick you up in your car you'd pay for their Uber to your location and from your house, I assume.

I haven't been in that situation, but when I have been summoned I pick up my friend and drop them off at their house in my car. They have picked up their own car the next day.

I don't see the logic in using their car to pick them up, because I'd have to get to their location somehow, drive their car, then get back home without a vehicle. The only merit is that if they are intoxicated and throw up, it's in their car.

Can you really not leave your car wherever it is for the night?

Really depends on the part of town, I'd think. Also hopefully you didn't park somewhere with a three hour maximum or something.

Sure, in a situation like that you're definitely on the hook for paying for your friend's ride home, in addition to their ride to your location, and eternal fealty for helping you out in this situation.

This. It seems mental to go to their car to drive them home, then be stranded at their place.

Furthermore, it seems mental to pay for someone's Uber/cab to where you are, then to pay for them to get home, rather than to just call a cab to get yourself home.

I just dont drive anywhere where I might be drinking.

Also, never get a friend to pick me up. Grab is dirt cheap.
