I can see why they're looking at the merger/alliance/whatever they want to call it because of anti-trust but before that? Like, yeah, LIV/the PIF clearly just used the fact they have considerably more money than the PGA to entangle them in legal disputes because the PGA would go broke first in such a fight and thus forced them to capitulate but as scummy as that is I don't think the government has a cause to weigh in there. LIV as an actual golf league was flopping hard, they simply could throw enough money out to overwhelm the PGA and "win" that way. The whole thing is shitty and somehow I find myself on the PGA's side despite how bad their policies towards the players were because the whole LIV thing is even grosser. --- May you find your book in this place.
