I'm still 4 weeks from being able to buy another Herta Store 5* Light Cone, but I'm wondering if there's any chance they'll add more later? I've got the Hunt cone maxed but neither of the other 2 seem amazing. The Destruction one is OK but the Preservation one seems ass. May just keep saving.

Yeah there's leaks more will be coming in the future. I think Nihility is on the lineup at the very least. Also the Preservation one seems fairly useless to me, I'd rather max out The Hunt.

Meanwhile I have to decide if I want to buy Tingyun from the monthly store (I don't have her) even though it'll set me back big time on my way to a 5* light cone...

Part of what makes Cruising In The Stellar Sea good is the slightly wonky light cone balance. It's decently good, but it has even less competition from The Hunt 4* light cones compared to the Herta Destruction and Preservation light cones which distorts it's value even further. For whatever reason most of The Hunt light cones are a lot more situational than other paths, so the consistency that CitSS provides is worth more. Meanwhile, the Destruction and Preservation 4* options are so good that you would never use the Herta lc's over them, to the point where if you're that hard up for a new light cone you're much better off just using a 3* one, which tend to be unspectacular but solid (and most importantly a lot cheaper to enhance). I would rather hold onto my Herta tokens for any potential new addition than get either of the two bad ones.

Speaking of which, if they add a Harmony light cone to the Herta shop, it had better be crazy because for some reason EVERY Harmony light cone is great.

Isn't the 3* Mechanical Cogs LC Asta's best in slot? Never underestimate!

The standard passes are fairly worthless because you just don't get them quickly enough to add up. ONE pull every 2 weeks? One 4-star is 20 weeks. No thanks.

One could argue the tickets are better than going for the non Hunt cones! The Hunt cone is good though.

If we weren't going to get more cones in the shops I might grab tickets, but since it looks like we are then I'm def gonna save.

I also wonder if the Herta Shop cones are idicitive of the order we'll be getting Trailblazer Paths in? Since we've had Destruction and Preservation, if the next Trailblazer Path is Hunt that seems like too much of a coincidence.

So IF this Herta Nihility cone leak is accurate, we don't have numbers but it has a buff to Break Effect, DoT damage, and energy regen on kill, so this is probably going to be a good F2P option for Kafka. Definitely worth saving for just in case.

Yeah March 7th is one of the few Preservation characters that LC even makes sense on

I havent even begun to actually build characters yet. Ive just slapped on whatever 4-5* LC I had for the type and whatever 4* relics I have so far. Eventually Ill advance to the real relic grind of 5* stuff

You want to have decent Relics for sure, but the relic "grind" really doesn't start until level 65 when the final tiers unlock for them and Planars. It's a near 1 to 1 experience dump if you fuse a leveled relic into another relic, so there's really no need to worry about wasting resource investment into less than optimal Relics.

Light Cones you wanna be a bit picker about what you invest in, though, order matters for those. Some light cones just do nothing for some characters even when they're the right path.

....But even then it's not so clear cut. The Natasha light cone is one of the better options for a Luocha even though the more healing power for your ult bonus does nothing for him, purely because of the secondary energy regen benefit.

Seems fairly similar to Genshin artifact grind. Light Cones are something I should look up for my characters I guess. The ones I use most so far are Stelle, March, Nat and then Asta/Dan/Tingyun depending on enemy weakness

I've been stuck in a car for 12 hours over the last 2 days, so I managed to max out the SU Abilities tree, since running it is free if you don't go for Planars. It actually just reduced my remaining points to zero after maxing the tree, which means either there won't be more or that's just a dick move lol.

Only one curio left to get (one of the negative clocks) and one event left to see (Con Jon part 3). Getting annoyed by my inability to get to either. Have gotten all the blessings.

Apparently we get 10 more tickets for 1.2 as well! Very good stuff

Exactly 3 weeks later.

Gives me 3 more weeks to stockpile tickets even though my Kafka will be guaranteed since I got Bailu going for Silver Wolf.

Got to my 5 star on the current banner and got Bronya, who I was afraid I would have to wait until I got 300 pulls on the generic banner to get her.

Now I'm all set for Kafka. Nothing but saving up for the next 4+ weeks.

I love Bronya. Bit of an auto battle pain just like most Harmony characters, but any fight where her auto battle is actually a problem you shouldn't be auto battking in the first place.

I tried to do MoC before it rolls over. 7/10 cleared, 20/30 stars... and then stage 8 is weak to Wind/Fire/Imaginary, and I doubt Fire MC for one and SW for the other would cut it. Guess I'll just stop there! How many times will I need Dan Heng before I build him?

yeah at this point it's clear a lot of the long-term grind of this game is simply "you need to build a variety of characters" which is actually a huge expense. even before grinding the stats that will be required to full clear the highest floors of MoC with all stars

Did the remaining objectives in Stellar Flare at the last minute.

Honestly Stellar Flare was tons of fun to parse out. Wasn't actually that hard once I realised it was actually just a character showcase to get you to build the less popular units by making them look better than they actually are, lol.

FINALLY got a Quantum Damage Space Station Planar for Seele, God.

Now I just need to figure out if anybody wants this +12 Gold ATK space station rather than a Type specific one.

I think all DPS want their type, so it'd only be ATK-scalers where you don't really care about their personal DPS. I think that's just Luocha and Tingyun, and I bet Space Station is overkill for both

Ahhh Tingyun, hmmm....well, something to consider, I'm not gonna chunk it for EXP just yet (though I actually have like 3 unused attack Space Stations so...I guess that wouldn't be a big deal?)

On a bother note, a reminder for NEXT week, the weekly reset will be happening a bit before 1.2 launches. If you're pulling for Blade, you may want to hold off on doing your Echoes of War until after you've unlocked the new boss fight.

It kind of depends on your gear for the character. It's not beat in slot on anyone else (I've seen arguments that it's BiS for Silver Wolf even compared to her 5* come, but again it's build dependent). Pela and Sampo can both get a lot out of it. It can certainly do good things for Welt as well, especially once you unlock his T6, and if you're running him with the Desert Relic Set.

I have been spamming the exp calyx for the double drops, which has let me push several characters to 80 which I have kind of been neglecting. Right now I have Selee, Welt, Silverwolf, Trailblazer, and Yanqing at 80. I will be able to push Bronya tomorrow, then will probably follow with Pela and Natasha.

Yeah, I reached 1600 jade for a pull on the current banner and got Bronya. Which is great but I won't be pulling nothing for a while excepting whatever I get from new content. Also can't exactly gather the resources for her while I still only have 2 level 80 characters.
