Why are you reminding me of a movie you didn't even see I retroactively hate this movie. I dont know why I'd constantly rewatch it as a kid when it terrified me and the grotesque books were horrifying. I'm surprised it didn't affect my love of reading.

I enjoyed it along with the Sega Genesis game.

I never saw The Pagemaster. I kinda think the Nostalgia Critic review steered me away from watching it. But, now that I think about it, I've never really had access to it. It never appeared on a cable channel that I had at the time or on a streaming service that I had access to. It might have been available at some video store, but it's not the kind of film I would have paid to rent. I've really just never crossed paths with the film and never had any reason to lament my not getting to see it.

I do recall wanting to watch the movie for the dragon when I was a kid though.

This was probably my most rented VHS from the video store as a kid. I loved this movie. The part at the beginning when the cartoon ocean was chasing him to suck him into the fantasy world was so cool looking. I even rented that shitty game of it on the Genesis a few times too.

Absolutely loved it as a kid. Pretty sure one of the first things I did when I moved out to college was smoke and watch the movie and I wasn't really into it.

I'll have to check it out again as an adult with the girlfriend. She watched it a lot too as a child

I remember them. I actually saw those movies.

Rock-a-Doodle was fun when I was a kid. It didn't hold up quite so well when I watched it as an adult, but it was still reasonably enjoyable.

Ferngully could've been better.

Anastasia is the only movie I recall where I disliked the concept, but liked the movie itself. The movie is easily the best of the three.

The video game was great. Movie, not so much.

Never saw it. But the ad for it at the beginning of the Mrs Doubtfire VHS is engraved into my brain.

I enjoyed it but it could use a remake, wouldn't be egregious.

Add some deeper commentary by using banned books or something too. Unironically it should be remade, and made woke AF.

Even as a kid who was typically all in on whatever was being marketed, I knew that movie was shit.
