The monster who fatally stabbed a couples dog in Central Park pulled a switchblade after his three unleashed pit bulls attacked the doomed pup, police sources told The Post Sunday. The vicious attack Saturday night happened as the helpless dogs owners scrambled to separate the animals near the parks 106th Street and East Drive entrance, sources said. The suspects trio of pooches were not on leashes when they charged after Eli, a female pit bull-German shepherd mix, around 8:30 p.m., who was being walked by a couple from the area, according to sources. The pair also had a Chihuahua with them. The dog fight sparked an argument between the three owners, and thats when the brute wearing an orange hat, gray shirt and blue jeans allegedly stabbed Eli to death, sources said. He fled the park with his pets. Elis owners rushed her to the vet but she had to be euthanized. The chihuahua wasnt hurt. Cops say theyre canvassing the area and are still investigating the killing. No arrests have been made.

Man, I recall a satisfying memory about this type of dog owner. Back when I was 17 a girl was walking her pitbull and letting it bark and lunge at a dogo argentino puppy in someones yard.

Lil dogo was part of a family and the mother hopped the tiny fence and proceeded to fight and horribly mangle the pitbull and even jumped the fence back holding the pit and kept mauling it. The girl was screaming for help at this point, the homeowner took his time calling off his dog. I guess he saw the whole thing from his window.

This owner couldve trained any large dog to be this vicious

Are they inherently violent or are they raised to be that way? I was under the impression that a lot of them are rescues that had a violent upbringing.

The argument was because person with multiple pitbulls were unleashed During a time period where your dogs are supposed to be leashed in central park. Unleashed owner stabbed the leashed pitbull. That is so sad since finally someone that keeps their pitbull on a leash which many ask for just happened to bump into an unleashed owner leading to their dog getting killed.

I hadnt ever had cause to look at what breeds were banned in Australia before, but it seems the pit bull terrier is on the list.

Eli and Sadies owner Brian Robert told The Post Sunday that all hell broke loose when he confronted the aggressive dogs owner, whom hes seen before in the neighborhood.

I was trying to correct him and say its not OK, your dog just tried to bite my dog, said Brian, who didnt want his full name used out of fear of retribution.

As a dog owner I don't think any dogs should be off leash in public crowded spaces. That owner is a scumbag and should face serious penalties.
