Wish I could say I appreciate that, but it kind of rings hollow after literally months and at least half a dozen topics of you making the accusation and then doubling down when corrected. All I can say is maybe be more mindful of taking what people say at face value when there's literally no reason to doubt them and plenty of evidence to back them up from now on.

yes, the uk policy is absolutely based on racism. the reasoning there was to "keep out the specter of american inner city culture" and dog bites and attacks have gone up every year despite the ban on pitbulls. italy and the netherlands have repealed their pitbull bans because they were ineffective.

uhh yeah, other dogs are more powerful, aggressive etc. also 'pitbull' isn't well defined and multiple breeds are characterized as one for the purposes of fear mongering by ignorant people.

the mod team is capable of reading and understanding basic facts and reality. it's p telling i am the only one using sources to prove my perspective and not a single one of the unhinged anti pitbull people have been able to address anything that any of them have said.

I don't care for pitbulls or any aggressive and dangerous breed of dog. Been chased or cornered way too damned many times in my past to care about being around them.

If they can be confused for pit bulls, and behave like pit bulls, they should be regulated like pit bulls. There, no breed specific legislation required just dog size and behavior legislation.

Also, since certain minorities are disproportionately responsible for gun crimes does that make wanting gun control racist as well, or does that logic only apply to things you don't want?

I've seen more white pit owners than black in my time

I volunteered at our local shelter for a few years. The people that normally come in looking for pits were the people that you would normally NOT want to own one. They would often end up back in the shelter in short time. often people that would do well with them would avoid them. We vetted all owners, regardless of what they were adopting. But the owners quickly figured out that if the Pit was a mix with strong features of the off breed, they often had a more positive re-homing experience. The people specifically looking for Pits were often not interested in boxers, and owners not looking for a specific breed were more inclined to adopt.

A lot of Pit defenders are their own worst enemy. I have a few friends that have the most lovable Pit you will ever find. I giant puppy that only wants attention and food. I have other friends that are stupid vocal about their love for Pits, and their Pits are a bad news headline waiting to happen. But they are first in line to shout "Blame the owner" when a Pit bites or mauls someone.

Closing 261 was a mistake. Should have just quarantined it like LUE back in the day.
