the zo6 has like 150 more hp than the c8 but it has no dual clutch. Any car guys here?

have heard lots of people say this? but are vette buyers really any older than porsche or ferrari buyers etc......? it takes yrs to save up

There was a homogenization of sport cars in like, the 2000s (imo) and Corvette was the worst when it came to losing any sort of unique identity. They hardly have any spirit in the design anymore.

Would rather drive a C4 ZR1 instead.

C7. It looks marginally better than the C8. But really I don't want any Vette newer than a C3.

that one was alright but the c6 and c7 zr1 have upped that zr1 by hundreds of horsepower and look better too. Sports cars have gone up in the performance dept. a lot in like 15 yrs. New technology but they have risen in prices a lot since the c4 zr1 too. But you are getting more and better performance.

i disagree the c7 base, was ugly , the c6 and c8 are way better , but i will admit the c7 wide corvettes are a hue improvement over the skinny ones. But why wouldn't you want a newer vette? before they couldn't compete performance wise with ferraris etc....but like the c6 onwards they have been able to

I really don't like modern super cars, mostly older muscle cars and oddities. And motorcycles. If I had to pick a modern sports car it would probably be a 911, they've done a good job of keeping the spirit of that model throughout the years.

oh, are you older? a lot of older guys like older cars from back from when they were a teenager ..etc...

It's all about the looks for me. I don't care if it's slow long as it looks good. C6 is the last one that kept the classic Vett round tail lights, after that they went to a more Camaro square tail light, and I'm not a fan. The problem with C8 in my opinion is they went too European with the design.
