to someone who doesn't want a Steam Deck 80/80

I would love to get a steam deck but I can't justify spending money on that AND re-buying all my PS5 games just for the sake or portability. I think the steam deck is great for someone who primarily games on PC/has a steam account but for me personally I'd rather just get the Sony thing and the next Switch.

The only thing that really sucks about it the fact you have to be connected to Wi-Fi for it to work and you can't take it out your house but if its priced at $200 i'd still get one.

You know you can play your PS4/PS5 games on your phone/tablet, right?

The Project Q is stupid if it's more than $199.

The fact that it requires a PS5 is already bad enough, but rumors say it'll be around $300.

Nah for what we currently know about it, it's definitely a product for nobody

They should easily go back to the drawing board on it

Any phone and controller like a razer kishi can do the same thing and PS streaming just isn't as good right now like Xbox's game pass streaming

That would be a deal breaker for me. A digital PS5 is $100 more and I can't see the Switch 2 launching any higher than $350 maybe $400 for a deluxe type version. Sony would be dumb as hell for that considering it doesn't even have an OLED screen

You have to pay for the PS5 games again though right? Now a steam deck with gamepass is something to consider. Gamepass is an amazing deal

Steam Deck is worth a lot more in dollar value and Project Q isn't free. You don't have to buy a brand new device to Stream Gamepass for example. Works on your phone and PC already.

Which is Microsofts estimate of what it'll cost. I think I'll wait for Sony to tell us what their device will cost and if it costs $300 then it's an obvious waste of money but again I'm not going to just assume Microsofts estimated price of Sonys device is spot on.

It's a mandatory purchase for streaming because Sony is years behind in cloud infrastructure, it's terrible in concept already because the calendar year is 2023. Also, if it costs more than a Switch Lite it's also a terrible deal.

Not entirely true, you can stream to the PC already and if you hack a Vita you can stream to that too. Sony was actually quite ahead of the curve when it came to streaming, their problem is they don't have the world wide data centres that you find from the likes of Microsoft so streaming games from Sony themselves is not as good of a service as Microsoft has.

But yes, I do agree that the Project Qs usefulness is going to depend entirely on its price which I already stressed in my first post.

This. Even according to the test I have exceptional internet and streaming on Playstation is absolute shit.
