Presumably any sustainable business was providing benefits to the patrons. What makes Twitter special? It was never* sustainable as far as I know. When a newspaper owner decides to lay off its staff and stop publication, is that mainly an impact on him? The consequences of capitalism "working as intended" are the working class becoming collateral damage to sate the egos of the wealthy, while those same billionaires fall into a golden safety net.
