I did a play through of that on my psp about...11? 12 years ago? It was a little wonky getting use to it but I enjoyed it.

Im trying my hardest to wait till my blueberries I planted this year are fully ripe before eating them. Its a struggle.

Found out my mother almost passed away very recently due to a complication with surgery, she was placed into the ICU and then the high dependency unit.

Wasn't the happiest with how I was informed and when I was informed, but I'm at least glad she's alright, for now.

Sorry to hear that, but I am glad that she did pull through. Yeah when my father died, all they did was call and ask us what we wanted to do as far as life saving techniques. Would have liked to hear something before he was dying such as his condition deteriorating to prepare us a little. Hospitals seem to forget that there are families behind their patients that need to be informed asap as to situations that are changing. We weren't happy in the least with how the hospital handled the call to us in the least. That was 2 years ago. I mean we knew he was in poor health, but there were no signs that we knew of him being in a perilous condition like that until they asked us to what extent we wanted them to try and save his life at 330 in the morning. I think due to COVID (due to the mass cases), a lot of hospitals really lost their touch as to how to talk to families about when their patients are in such a condition. I suppose on the flip side of the coin, is there really a good way to approach that?

And sorry to read about what happened with your dad. My dad got hit by a vehicle while trying to get something that fell out of his truck so I can understand how the shock of suddenly losing someone can feel.

Thank you for your condolences. He was a man of many flaws, but still a good man in his heart. His birthday was yesterday so that's why it's a little fresh in my mind at the moment. Miss him immensely but as much as we hate it, death is a part of life and we have to find the time for grief and then the time to move forward. He died from pneumonia complications. Was just his time....but again, ty for the condolences. It is very much so appreciated.

On a more uplifting note, while smaller than the Winter Sale, was really glad to see the turnout for the Summer Sale...Can't wait for the next Winter Sale, think I may pick 2 big gifts this next time and donate to the drawing next time as well.

Got 2 hours in today, it's a great time. Combat is addictive and I like how it doesnt take itself too seriously. I love jrpgs but sometimes the melodrama is outrageous. Thanks again, and I'm glad your mom is doing okay!

Part of my surgery stitches fell out today which made my wound feel less painful. So things are looking up healing wise.

Youd be best off getting a PS5 now as it will play nearly all PS4 games and even some at upscaled resolutions, extra enhancements, etc

Playing my game I noticed the devs went a little extra with the PS4 version. When you switch between the characters the light on the controller switches to the color for the character. Not a big thing, but one of those things that make you say "they didn't have to do that". I thought it was kinda neat. Haven't played any other game that does that

Ah cool, didn't realize it was almost fully BC w/ PS4 games. Might just have to do that...what I pay for a 2TB PS4 (around 300-350) as you said, I may as well get a PS5...maybe just maybe I will. I do want a PS3 though as I feel I missed some good games of that generation plus I know certain models are BC with PS1/PS2 games.

That would be the fats. They are prone to the yellow light of death but there are more still operational than there were that fell victim to it.

The older phatty model PS3s are ticking time bombs. Maybe youd be best off getting one thats refurbed by a professional, with a warranty? Theyre pretty prone to overheating , the stock thermal paste they originally used is crap.. the slim models wont play physical disc PS2 games but all models play PS1 discs

Thanks for the heads up. I know I briefly had a PS3 along with the game Heavenly Sword for a day, but had to return it because it got damaged in shipping....Just never bothered to replace it. Didn't realize they were prone to YLOD

If you do get a PS5 then definitely invest in more storage. An external SSD will run any PS4 games that are stored on it, but you might just want to get an internal SSD of you plan on buying a lot of PS5 games.

Mine died after about 18 months. Thats what got me to switch from console to PC gaming.
