This might be my favorite story of the week. They used the one cash app which shows your transactions to all your friends.

It's almost as if the man who sexually harrassed Anita Hill in the 1990s is a piece of crap who should never have been admitted to the bar let alone the supreme court.

The lawyers who made the Venmo transactions were: Patrick Strawbridge, a partner at Consovoy McCarthy who recently successfully argued that affirmative action violated the US constitution; Kate Todd, who served as White House deputy counsel under Donald Trump at the time of the payment and is now a managing party of Ellis George Cipollones law office; Elbert Lin, the former solicitor general of West Virginia who played a key role in a supreme court case that limited the Environmental Protection Agencys ability to regulate greenhouse gas emissions; and Brian Schmalzbach, a partner at McGuire Woods who has argued multiple cases before the supreme court.

You can make payments private, but sounds like this aide and the lawyers were too dumb to do that.

If not, the GOP will not go along with an impeachment.

So who impeaches the Supreme Court? Because one side the House is controlled by the GOP I don't know if they will impeach Clearance Thomas if they haven't even kicked out George Santos yet.

Trump committed multiple crimes and the GOP still wouldn't get on board with impeachment. The legality of their behavior has nothing to do with it.

They'll fight tooth and nail to defend "their" guy... legality be damned.

That's not to say, building a proper case is not recommended.

Theyll defend Clarence Thomas even more than they defend Trump. Lifetime SCOTUS appointments are their lifeblood.

Roberts has to be really angry right now. It's hard to lie to make people think SCOTUS has at least some integrity when stories like this come out. If you're going to be corrupt, at least hide it better. This is just...lazy ...

My point is the only thing that matters here is if his actions were criminal enough to warrant indictment.
Nothing short of that matters because the GOP will not go along with impeachment.

I don't think he actually gives a fuck. Pretty sure it's just typical old rich asshole syndrome from him of not caring WHY people criticize the court and just that they ARE doing it, and he told them everything is kosher so they are wrong and he is right.

no, if it was that easy the members that the other party appointed would be removed when each party won the white house. it requires an impeachment from congress and trial in the senate the same as removing a potus

HE got where he is with affirmative action, but THEN says its bad.
