The top percentage of writers/actors in the industry that make millions is abysmally small, the rest nearly struggle to get by. Residuals are abysmal especially for streaming (I've seen many say that the residuals they get are pocket change), and execs want to use AI as cost-cutting measures so they won't have to pay actors to use their likenesses.
