https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKTx-PAzbE0 premieres in 29ish hours, slightly under 1 hour of games this time and it's a prerecorded showcase for the first time too hopefully will see a LOT of nice obscure indie game reveals here and perhaps release dates on some of the cooler ones they featured last time ... forgot to bump this or anything around the time it premiered oops, spoilers below! | | | | | the villainess streamer fake news strategy game (yes these are real words i have used) from wss playground seemed alright boyhood's end still looks fine too, don't mind the delay too much was nice to see station to station and chasing the unseen again, terrascape was alright (civ-like with cards), korokoro harley looked basic but fun, toridama did indeed look like a passable enough 2-player stream game, to my forever love was perhaps also too barebones visually but i love the vibe and gameplay i like the art style in gluck, cabin of shadows sounded like an interesting thing to see in card game form, i've been thinking about picking up terra flame already, and also nice to get a reminder of a street cat's tale 2, it's neat that somebody actually made a game about an actual breed of octopus (adorabilis) and i need to pick up potion permit one of these days three days to chicago... certainly stood out, though it was also nice to see bread & fred, that one touhou deckbuilder, million shells and yaoguai hunter in wave 3 i was very surprised to see lethal crisis, a game from 2009, on this list. sure it just got a rerelease on steam recently, but it's the second game in a... seven game series i think?? and most of those games also have been getting steam versions in the last couple of weeks too. still, not much else interested me in wave 4 besides the one vn i guess and regarding the last wave i guess chicken police was neat too steam sale doesn't seem to have any crazy discounts sadly and most of the stuff i'm interested in i think i'd rather get outside of steam if anything but it was still nice to see some of the stuff in that section too probably most interested in the uma musume kunio-kun game they just showed the one commercial for 4 times lol but the showcase was still solid enough ...
