Gave Scott Pilgrim another try. Nope. Just...nope. Everything about that game feels awful to me. Done. Moving on with my life.

Robbing the bank took longer than I expected, so I didn't get to finish the field trip last night like I was hoping.

Don't think that I'd be able to finish it in time, unless I beeline the main story. I guess it would depend on how long the next set of side quests take. I'll probably do the field trip when I get back from work, then follow the story as much as I can, then see if I have time for the second set of side quests tonight. I'll probably make a backup save and then skip the last set of sidequests and come back to them after beating the game if it seems like I have a good shot at making it.

yeah I wasn't able to get through the field trip to the concentration camp last night so there's no way I'll be able to finish it today.

shame it has to go unbeaten this month (unless someone's further ahead than me)

I think that I'm at the final stretch of missions (I'm on 15 maybe?), but we'll see

KCF has beaten Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

I wasn't sure if I was going to finish this given I put this on hold to finish a couple other 15-20 hour games throughout the month, but I really dedicated myself to this over the past week. I liked Human Revolution a lot (I beat it twice), so I assumed that I was going to like this but feel disappointed compared to it. I didn't find stealth as enjoyable as Human Revolution (partly because Hitman has left all other AAA stealth games in the dust and also because I liked the level designs better in Human Revolution for my playstyle), but I still had a great time. I didn't quite understand the downsides of the extra augs, so I avoided them, but boy I wonder how I would have felt had I unlocked the Remote Hacking as early as I could. If I experienced any drawbacks before I got updated to remove that risk, I never realized it.

I think if you activate way too many it's supposed to forcibly turn something else off at some point, but it doesn't seem very limiting since you probably wouldn't really use the combat ones much assuming most players would lean more into stealth (especially if they're going for trophies) and if you did end up activating a bunch of experimental noncombat ones you could just turn off some other combat oriented ones.
