I've been running a Tribunal deck from Dekkster and it seems pretty good. But it does make me question why I'm playing a complicated combo deck when I could just play a braindeck Sera Surfer deck and probably win more.

This guy almost got me but my Super Skrull was a little bigger.

Im surprised they havent made adjusting your border a high priority changepeople stop upgrading once they get their first ink or gold because they dont want a mismatched border. If that werent the case, going for additional splits could be a good credit sink and make money for SD

Is it weird that Ive been playing since November and have never even split any card enough times to get Inked, let alone Gold?

(Its because I dont care about cosmetics and always upgrade any card I can as soon as I have enough credits, and have never run out of cards to upgrade.)

Im gonna be optimistic and hope that this is the sort of thing the team would have been doing if they werent prioritizing PC launch, and now they can work on it.

In the past they've said they don't want to confuse new players because a card's border/split should show you how much the other person has played with the card.

AKA a stupid excuse that makes no sense.

I think they said they were working on that or something once? It would be great for sure.

Alioths fellow spotlights are Hit-Monkey and Snowguard apparently. Ravonna gets Zabu & Jean and oddly Mobius is listed with Kang, but not a 3rd card yet somehow.

Kitty spotlight variant coming up very soon. I currently only have 2 spotlights and the other 2 cards are brand new to me too. Gonna have to hope I get lucky I guess

Just started playing the game, it's a lot of fun. Won my first 9 games in a row. I like that your deck has only 12 cards and that they present you with 1 new card at a time so you're basically just swapping out the worst card for the best card. It makes it easy to learn the cards and their effects.

I currently have 38 cards. I'm playing a Kazoo deck because I think that's the best i have:

Kazar is probably your best choice that early yeah. Feels like you should almost certainly have something better than Angel by now though

Yeah Quicksilver is better than Angel early because he always starts in your opening hand. You don't have a way to destroy cards to take advantage of Angel's ability.

Angel is completely worthless from what Ive seen at least. Maybe early on you could see some small use of him, but nobody runs him in any kind of deck Ive seen thats considered a decent deck. Hes not ideal for Destroy or Zoo or anything

in a pre-Killmonger world he's okay anti-Elektra tech but that's about it

I'll try putting Quicksilver in instead of Angel. Y'all are right, Angel is too situational until I get more self-destruction effects

Just found out on the reddit that you can concede conquests immediately, without having to play any matches. After you enter a conquest and you get your tokens you can tap on the question mark in the top right corner and concede immediately.

I thought everyone knew that? Thats what I did the first Conquest we had. All my silver tickets turned into so many medals

I definitely did not know, and based on the reactions other people didn't either. I was entering a match and conceding immediately.

Hopefully they wont remove it as a way to force people to play

Anyone going for Silver Samurai? He is gonna destroy so many archetypes but I have both Kitty and 2099 so Im not going for him

I decided to do 1 cache because I like both of the variants (and I've got 5 saved) and got Samurai.

That was probably a bad decision though, don't be like me.

Holy shit that Vulture variant is weird looking. His face is almost scary. I like the Angela. I just think the Chibi variant is charming and theyre probably my second favorite variant type after Venomized. Dan Hipp is also a contender for second place though.

Does anyone else think the Baby variants look kinda like Calvin & Hobbes style art in the faces? Thats what they immediately remind me of especially Baby Cable

I really disliked the Dan Hipp ones at first but then they grew on me and now that variant line is my favourite.

I like Dan Hipp variants on the whole but very rarely have my #1 favorite so I don't use them much.

If I could use only one variant line I'd probably use Dan Hipp though.
