Im working on it. Its sad my B team can easily 9* Floor 11, but struggle to DPS fast enough for floor 12. Nahida/Diona/Xing/Yoimiya just not powerful enough floor 12 time limits.

If you take this team and replace Nahida/Diona with Bennett and an Anemo (Kazuha, Sucrose, or even Xianyun/Jean should work), I think that's a really solid Abyss team for bosses. Assuming Xing is Xingqiu. Or swap Yelan to Yoi's team if the Noelle/Furina one is still way stronger.

I also agree that settling for aiming for 33 stars is a good goal. Hell I don't even 36 star Abyss all the time, I only got 35 these past two cycles because the current enemy lineup is really annoying

True, but I want Sigewinne as well. Worse case scenario those two will run me 360 Fates if I get the hard pity and fail both coin flips. Seeing Natlans characters now would be great so Id have an idea who to go for. I ended up grabbing more characters from Sumeru and Fontaine than I originally expected to since they were just good characters.

I do have a C6 Sucrose Ive never built properly. I can say that about so many characters. Im terrible

Do we have some kind of word on whether Sigewinne is a 4 or 5? Most of the characters teased at the version's launch have been 5, but I wouldn't take it as a given. And beyond being the easiest shoe-in outside of Baizhu for being a healer, I don't have a clue what she'll do.

Having an anemo available is good, but I freely admit that I don't exploit VV the way "good" players do and I wouldn't have a clue where to start with performing a double swirl. Still, just using classic Sucrose taser is a viable team in many cases, and even minor grouping is helpful.

The secondary team is usable. The main issue is that Yoimiya is very strictly single target, so she's not going to mow through crowds, and as much as I love Diona (mechanically), she's pure defense. You need characters that will provide offensive support for Yoi. If you dare running without a healer, XQ/Fischl/Beidou might work. Because apparently I still have taser on the brain. Or you can run her on the second half, but then be prepared to do melee plunges on the gravity boss and you'll have tight DPS windows.

Last I heard Sigewinne is also a 5*

Before I got Furina one of my main Abyss teams was Nahida, Diona, Yelan & Yoimiya and it performed well.

Which Abyss was that? Might just be that this is a rough cycle for Yoimiya.

All the ones before Furina basically. I also used to use Eula/Noelle/Kuki/Xiangling for one half lol

As a Childe player, yeah double swirling sucks lol

It's easiest in aoe because you can just apply hydro to one enemy and pyro to another and swirl the group. But on single target it's finnicky and team dependent. Having a second pyro helps, that's part of why Bennett is so good. On certain comps if you apply a lot of hydro then pyro, there's a second where hydro are still on the enemy to swirl then you can do pyro. That's what I do for Childe (his E then Benny Q). I think Yelan EQ -> Benny Q might also do this? For Sucrose and Xianyun they can also swirl with autos so what I think people do is have Bennett apply pyro, swirl that, and then Yelan/XQ followups will apply hydro to swirl. You can also swirl off Gyoba when he's breathing fire, lol.

I'm pretty sure most pyro main DPS need a second pyro if they want to swirl both, like Hu Tao and Diluc can't apply pyro and switch without losing infusion. Arle I think retains her infusion when switching but hell if I know how to play her yet

Maybe something like Nahida/Yelan/Kuki/Kirara. Nahida onfield generating seeds with her autos+Yelan's burst, and Kuki's skill doing hyperbloom. The optimal would be Alhaitham somewhere in there, but yeah. And all you need on Kuki is Elemental Mastery.

What am I aiming for with Chiori? KeqingMains is regarded as the best character builder from what I heard and number wise Im not really sure what to aim for since the infographic picture doesnt show. I think part of why I struggle is Im too particular or whatever since I like to know what numbers to aim for with all the important stats.

Says Golden Troupe with DEF Sands, Geo DMG/DEF Goblet and Crit/DEF Circlet (says dont use 3 DEF) and subs of Crit, DEF and ATK, but doesnt seem to specify more than that

You get DEF Sands, Geo DMG Goblet, and Crit Rate circlet. The number for these don't matter cus yiu just get what they give at +20.

Then you want as much Crit Damage, Crit rate and Energy recharge on substats as possible. Chiori should be good at like 140-150 Energy Recharge.

Then just rule of thumb, 70% Crit Rate is good. 60ish is fine. Then just as much Crit DMG as you can. If over 100, good. If over 150, strong. What weapon will you give her though?

Shes got R5 Cinnabar Spindle. KeqingMains which is supposed to be the turbo meta character builder site says she doesnt need to build ER and to just cast her burst when you have it for whatever reason.

That's good. For starters just equip her with what you have with the right main stat, regardless of set. Focus in leveling her up to at least 80 and her skill talent level to 8, burst is fine at 6. Once that is done, you can spend your days at the Golden Troupe domain farming XD

True, you can ignore her burst altogether.

This is a good suggestion. Hyperbloom is always a very easy starter team. Especially if you already have Nahida and Yelan. Just need Kuki or Raiden for the trigger.

Wow with Chiori, Nahida and Kuki being far from idea artifact wise I still got 6* on Floor 12 for the first time!

Even got 2 achievements from Dendro Chicken I didnt know were things since outside Abyss it dies so quickly.

I love how treasure chest icon appears on the map now if youre in range of treasure when using the compass. Good QoL change

Also I did not realize til now I could just teleport to the new area without having to jump through any hoops first.

Can I just jump right into Petrichors stuff to farm Arlecchino or would I miss out if I didnt do some other stuff first? I finished all the archon quests of Fontaine at least, but havent touched basically any of the character quests other than Furinas if she had one and havent even done the Fontaine Institute stuff yet still

She performs 8% better or some such with them...but I sure ain't gonna far that dead-ass domain for one character with a dead weight artifact as the other set. Like, it is known that Clorinde will use Bond of Life mechanics, but it sounds like there will be superior alternatives, so there's no point.

I wonder who would even use the other artifact set from that domain. I gotta get PEAK C0R1 Father so Ill be doing the grind. Barely touched the new area last night since I was tired, but even early on it seems like its gonna be an interesting place

I think it's for certain melt teams (that use dendro for burning = more pyro to melt) but just you wait until they make Burning meta in Natlan somehow.

And idk, I have a decent 4pc Gladiator for Arlecchino but I don't mind dumping resin into this domain even if it's inefficient. Part of that is I'm tired of farming MH/GT (which I've been doing, didn't even touch Navia's domain), but I don't really feel like I have much else to dump resin into these days. It's this, the Emblem mines, or farming Nymph for Childe which is just as bad.

Would you believe me if I told you I'm farming Thundering Fury right now?....because, uh, reasons. >.>

My Arlecchino is getting up there level wise at least now along with her weapon.

When the chasm came out, I mostly cleared everything, best I could, but there were four puzzles I could never figure out. I marked them on my map, left, and would periodically come back to shrug at them. Tonight, I finally looked up a guide, and discovered I had to use a freaking construct. I never play with geo on my team, so I would have never in a billion years figured that out. Maybe it said it once upon a time with some tutorial instructions, but I never saw it.

Anyway, I was at 95% on the chasm and needing 2 chests for the achievement in the area. This got me 5 chests and 1 stone marker, leading to 100% and the achievement, which happens to be a very special achievement...
