SHUT UP.

I'm so f***ing tired of people so damned confused that I drink exclusively 2% milk. "Are you drinking 2% because you think youre fat? You could be drinking whole milk if you wanted." they ask, "WHY THE F*** DON'T YOU WANT ALL OF THOSE CALORIES?"

And even though I yell at my dad to buy me 2% milk, he still comes home with WHOLE saying that it tastes like water. Jesus F***ing Christ dad stop giving me that fattening crap.

How many of you 2% or skim milk drinkers have to deal with this s***?

weird. I used to drink whole milk but pretty sure i was told it was "the norm" (i think even by GameFAQs) to drink 2% so I tried it and it wasnt so bad so I stuck with it because it was healthier and I used to drink alot of milk. Maybe half a gallon daily
ive never been made fun of for what kind of milk i drink lol
my roommate drinks 2% as well

I only go for 2% as well lol. Whole milk is too thick and creamy, 2% is healthier and it has just the right taste.

I don't drink milk, that's nasty. But when I'm making a latte or cereal or something, I'll use 2% protein milk. I think 2% is the sweet spot where it still works to make things creamier. It really does need that extra bit of fat compared to 1% or fat free.

I mostly only use milk for cooking or cereal (not often). I do use flavored creamers for coffee tho- I will admit 2% isnt quite enough on its own for that.
but whole milk and honestly the thought of it is so gross to me. Like the sludge that sticks to your tongue even *shivers*

a lot of it is in the mouth-feel, moreso than the taste.
when you describe a regular-bodied glass of wine, you compare it to whole milk. kind of sticks to the side of the glass, coats the tongue, but not as much as half-and-half (a full-bodied wine)

I don't live with my parents, so I buy my own skim milk. Although the other person in my house, she prefers whole milk and buys her own. It's a system that works.

Honestly, at this point 2% tastes really decadent to me. I can handle 1%, but whole milk feels like I might as well be drinking cream.

I don't really drink milk anymore, but my family bought 2% as a kid and always made me drink a glass with dinner. Any time a friend came over or anything like that I always got the, "you drink 2% milk?!" spiel, though.

I swear it's a cult.

Last time I actually drank milk by itself, I was probably single digit aged child. I do drink breve lattes though which is over 8 oz of half and half (half whole, half cream). I drink 2 of those a day. Half and half is much healthier than 2% or skim. Low fat + sugars (lactose) = bad news. Unless you like diabetes and weight gain.

Where im from 2% IS the fatty milk (well 2,5)

Even 1,5 tastes too sweet for me nowadays.

I can drink 0,5 if need be, but i prefer 0,1.

1% and Skim milk are white water.

It's weird, I can't really taste the difference between 1% and 2% milk at all which is why I switched to 1%, but skim milk tastes noticeably worse than 1% even though the difference should be the same.

Pretty much this heh. While I can stand 1% milk for cereal purposes, I'll pretty much have wished the store hadnt been out of 2% milk whenever Im consuming it.
